- the disruptive students - the lack of pedagogic support - the diminishing social respect for the teaching profession - the constant parental demands from self-confessed unqualified experts in your field - the relatively low wage and almost zero benefits - the never ending amount of unpaid hours spent outside class in marking and lesson prep - the endless stream of pointless meetings and all the totally senseless bureaucratic demands

Tamed the students, got several months of vacation a year as a benefit, and the pointless meetings and senseless demands are made in any field, and I used to do a job with about 14 hours overtime a week, so I can manage in education pretty well
As for the dancer, it's probably the same as with the optical illusions (two pictures in one), whatever you happen to see first, your mind fixates on as 'the correct state'... or something like that...
