Hi All,

From next January I'll be moving to London, to re-start a new chapter in my life. Any suggestions about Employment agencies and sites, and best place to rent will be welcome handshake

Can’t know about London, but what I’ve learned of all my deviations is: you take the first available place, don’t settle there but look for a place that would suit you better – closer to job, or more attractive part of a town… or whatever your preferences are. It’s always much easier to find something better when you are already “an insider”.

Good luck!wine

PS Kind of irony, but I’ve read about UK on a Russian forum yesterday. The majority advised strictly against moving to Londonsk – too many Russians there.

grin

And.... what's wrong with that?

I think you have to take London for what it is. For me it's a living legend and I go there for my own reasons (mainly to immerse in the past, but don't immediately assume staring at Big Ben). I could probably live there too, just for the atmosphere and the spirit of it. thumbs up

Had to check in case I’ve forgotten, but no – there’s indeed a grin emoticon after this phrase; means that it’s a joke. Or is meant as a joke. Or just an attempt to.

sigh
