My son has had a life long friend since the age of 5yrs, his name is Neil and he is now 26yrs.

They played together, laughed together, cried together and got into all sorts of mischief together. He was there for my Son when his baby stillborn and was the only that could get through to him.

Five months ago he was diagnosed with Cancer, he has had treatment but yesterday I was told he has 6 months at the most to live.

He has a beautiful 4yr daughter of whom he has custody and his current girlfriend is now pregnant.

He was taken back into hospital last night because he is in so much pain.

My Son is devasted and trying so hard to be brave for his friend.

All I am asking is that you keep this young man in your thoughts, I am not religious so will not ask for your prayers.

Thank you

hug

Thinking of you Neil, love you hug

BellaTheRebel48: I'm soooo very sorry!!! I've just been crying myself remembering how much pain my dad was in before he died of cancer. I sure wish they could come up with a cure for every type of cancer. I felt so helpless watching my dad just whither away. Most of my family is gone due to cancer.

I don't attend church, but I will pray.

Take care,

Bella

This may sound awful but we would not let an animal go thro that much suffering.

And if my saying that offends anyone I apologise

I've just lost a life-long friend to cancer - it's a cruel disease, and so devastating to family and friends.

My thoughts and hopes go out to you, your family, and your friend.

I trust you will all find some peace and a solution to the suffering I know you will all be feeling right now.
