Hi Debs, I don't think it is the sense of humour, people around the world generally find the same things funny depending on whether you have a dry or silly sense of humour. But, there is a huge difference between American English and British English, even though we appear to speak the same language.wave conversing

It is nice to see your sunny faces here again .. Hello to all . I have never come across two people whom have a 100% understanding of each other . Ask teachers and they would tell you of their surprise in being misunderstood wholly in some of the things they teach . Husbands , wives , members of the same family , all seem to have their differences comprehending one another . That is natural and would be more profoundly experienced crossing other cultures .

Take your time and decode your words , ask for explanation of what you find difficult to understand , deal with those whom are silly and you will find plenty of people to talk to where ever you go .

The differences that we see from culture to culture , from person to person is what makes life diverse and sometimes interesting . It would be sad if we were all the same .. Kick butts .. butts are there for kicking , in all colours and shapes .. and be gentle with those of your friends .
Let 's make an effort to understand each other . Keep smiling
