Occasionally I have read tat best friends ended up having a relationship and other similar stories, so imagine this: you are single, in search for that special someone, probably for quite some time now... what if though... you've met that someone but you simply know them as 'friend', 'neighbour', co-worker etc?

Ever thought about it? What do you think? Is it possible? Should we be checking if it is possible?

as long as the other person isn't in a subordinate work role to you .. I think the logical thing would be to tell the person in question and let that person decide how to react and what to do about it .. although, of course, you should be careful because you might lose a friend or create uneasy feeling at work in the process .. but if you decide to ask the person out somewhere, I think you should definitely do so level ..

there are too many likely factors at play and only you really know the answer ..

best of luck to you, Fab ..cheers

But what's in my mind is this: how can people not realise the presence of mr/miss right? You've know a person for months/years and then all of a sudden it just comes to mind...if it took so long to realise is he/shre really the right one?

PS. I am not in such a situation laugh

rolling on the floor laughing i'd take note of that

I suppose Maria's right though people evolve either for the better or worse, and I guess situations change too, someone who wasn't available now is, for example.

Watched the link Conrad, I guess it wraps it up.

So let me ask another question (I might do this as a poll)

What would you prefer?

Knowing someone first, then fall in love?
Or a love at first sight?

I slao don't see how it's possible to be friends for a long time and then suddenly switch to lovers .. maybe people get bored looking for the real thing and settle for something less dunno

Co workers, colleagues, not.

a neighbour, I have none.

A friendship is something very valuable that can last the whole life while a love can be short, medium or forever event too but I would not choose love over a friendship, specialy the one that has being on for years.
