started of on a sad note, with the death of my uncle, but my mother encouraged me to go anyway...and so i did. darryl knew full well that i might be a bit of a mess, and was totally supporting of that.

the plane ride was easy and uneventful, very short lay-over...quick, painless, sleepy...getting through customs was fast as well...when i came out of the baggage area, there he was!!!!! he grinned broadly and joined me, and i swear he kissed me right there!

i felt no nervousness, nothing holding me back, but he was a TAD bit shy, lol, and then he loaded me up in his car and took me on a tour, showing me what the place looked like a bit at night.

we arrived at his house and talked til five or better in the morning, then slept in preparation for the next day. when we got up, he made me a yummy breakfast, and off to toronto we went. while there, we hit a hot dog stand (they had veggie dogs, huge ones!!) and walked around, visiting the church of scientology (darryl is good at provoking peeps) and seeing different shops and taking in the city at night. we went through the mall, rode the underground trains, ate vegetarian sushi (omg, what a humongous plate!) and just did the tourist thing. i took pics, lol...

friday we headed out to niagara falls, with the full intention of meeting bailey beez...but it wasn't in the cards. after waiting at the hotel a couple hours for her to call, we headed out walking...oh, yeah, we even had a wine tasting on the way there...ice wine rocks! we walked around niagara, went through the casinos, visited the falls...picked up veggie burgers, lol...the intention was to get up early and hit the falls again in the morning, but we both slept in a bit late and weren't able to.

saturday was relaxing, his roomate and him grilled for dinner, they had a huge pork roast and kingfish, i had grilled veggie burgers...and we had grilled asparagus and brussel sprouts...and these huge onion rolls...omg, it was marvelous. sauteed mushrooms and onions added to the next morning's experience. saturday night we walked all over mississauga...his city is my favorite out of the ones we visited, it's got a beautiful and welcoming feel to it...

throughout the whole time...he took care of me. he fed me sooo much food, lol, i thought i was to burst...he opened my doors (how weird is that?) and carried my bags and was just wonderful. i felt sooo comfortable with him, we talked of just about anything you could think of. and his kisses...mmmm....

i was very sad to leave, it was such a huge experience for me.

I'm still surprised they allow carmex, 1 of the ingredients can be used to make an impact explosive with a few other carry-on items.

I like Canada, I just don't like the way people drive in Toronto during traffic hour, and the Canadian customs process.

What's the difference between an impact explosive in a lip balm container, and one packed in something else? I guess that's my point.
