I’ve counted 3 possibilities:
She’s hoping that the husb’d survive and they’ll live long and happy ever after.
Or she’s hoping he’d die and she’d skip his ugly annoying ***** in her home, and possibly get some money after his death.
Or, and why not, she’s hoping to have some boogie-woogie with the doctor…
Am I cynical? Is there hope for me?
