Thanks Lillym.I don`t know why people feel the need to use animal products anymore ......... now we have wonderful Allergy Free Synthetic products ... that keep everyone warm, without causing any pain to other living creatures.
Oh, also .... remember this ...... If your climate is cold enough to have to use THICK duvets, AND you have internal heating in your home ....... Feathers dry out and cause a fine dust that can give you lots of allergic reactions ... including excema to the skin, rashes in nose, ears, eyes ...... and asthma.

Ah good, thanks.I hate those type of videos, but I watched that one, and it keeps haunting me ... thinking of those geese. Wish I could just go rescue them all!

And the nice thing with a synthetic duvet is that it can be washed in a normal washing machine.
Feather duvet laundering costs more than the original duvet! ... and if you don`t launder it ... or hang it out in below freezing weather, DUST MITES breed in it.
Google Dust Mites and SEE what they look like! eeeyyaaahhhhgggg!!!
I did that ... and my grand-daughter shoved ALL her fluffy toys in the deep-freeze for a week!
That's one of the most disturbing acts of cruelty to any creature. Unfortunately, we often see 'made from local and imported ingredients', in which case this way of labelling lefts countries like Hungary off the hook.
It wouldn't be like having individual hair pulled out. It would be way more excruciating than that for the poor geese. I think that pulling the CEO's teeth out, one by one, without anesthetic would be a good start!
