I was moving a few thousand tonne of dirt today in my little truck, going back and forwards up and down this hill, anyhow this one trip up I noticed this big stick on the road, then the big stick moved? It was a six foot long king brown snake! The forth most deadliest in the world, gee he moved fast!!!

I also saw a bull standing at the edge or the road that latter wandered down towards the main shed, if anyone has lost a male steer black in colour around the Jandakot area I found your pet! Or if I find a butcher in the next few weeks there could be a big bbq at my place soon

Wait a minute? A three metre crocodile closed cable beach this week, I have snakes bigger than tree branches and you are more scared of a bug?

At least we don’t have crocodiles in Perth? The sharks ate them !

yes to some people arachniphobia may be an irrational fear of spiders but the fear i feel facing a spider is real

Just make lots of noise when walking around, snakes hate it! And will sliver off, unless the weather changes that is, I worked up north once and a quick cold front moved in, I nearly stepped on a king brown that day and I was 200km from the nearest hospital, but that don’t work on tiger snakes! They will bite you just for the hell of it? And they get mad real easy, not to mention they move really fast!!

Let me get this clear. You didn't see a flasher on the side of your new Driveway waving his snake about that really impressed you. And it can move really really fast. laugh

Is that fast compared to a Koala, a Platypus, or a Kangaroo. professor

jonolooking: Jackjumper... is that a grasshopper or the guy beside the driveway?

rolling on the floor laughing
Nah, a jack-jumper is a big 'ol Tassie black ant who's bite packs a mule kick of a whallop. Bit like Inchmen.
The first time you get bit can turn you into a hot, red mess for weeks, make grown men cry like babies, and the second bite could send you into anaphalactic shock. Its so bad the Menzies Institute are doing research into ant-venom!
And they are damn crazy...step on their terrain, and they swarm and start jumping about all over the place. The freaky things will come after you! Only cure is pour petrol down their hole, and light it! Kaboom!
Me...I'd rather get bit by a Tasie Devil! Band-aid and a blood transfusion...and its all fixed!
Go Tassie! Our fauna won't kill you...it just wants to hurt you really, really bad!
