bbwfansdreamS: Nah, a jack-jumper is a big 'ol Tassie black ant who's bite packs a mule kick of a whallop. Bit like Inchmen.
The first time you get bit can turn you into a hot, red mess for weeks, make grown men cry like babies, and the second bite could send you into anaphalactic shock. Its so bad the Menzies Institute are doing research into ant-venom!
And they are damn crazy...step on their terrain, and they swarm and start jumping about all over the place. The freaky things will come after you! Only cure is pour petrol down their hole, and light it! Kaboom!
Me...I'd rather get bit by a Tasie Devil! Band-aid and a blood transfusion...and its all fixed!
Go Tassie! Our fauna won't kill you...it just wants to hurt you really, really bad!

ANTI-venom...bahahahaha! Typo funny!

rebeccakelly78: i have never had to deal with snakes. i am glad i am not there, though i would rather a snake than a spider

Me too uh oh I had a 1st big whitetail spider this season - they are just coming out now with the warmer weather and was on kitchen wall the other night, so freaking as i do, got my spider stick and managed to squash & kill it banana

Am scared of them so yesterday I sprayed the whole inside and outside of my house and even went around and sprayed fences and the pool and everything else apart from the garage - there's probably too many in there, just try and stay out.

So I better so see any more spiders uh oh

laugh I surely do.

You've seen how a elephant reacts to a mouse, well I am not scared of mice

but

If I see a big spider in the house, all hell breaks out and if I can't kill it straight aways and it hides, I will sit on a seat for hours for it come come back out uh oh

I kid you not uh oh

Many many years ago I rang my Dad at 3am and insisted he come ova and kill a spider.... he then proceeded to throw its little corpse into the loo, and I was utterly hysterical.. telling him it could revive itself and come back out.. laugh

At the end of my display of independent womanhood Dad commented that should he die, it 'would be a plesant release'.cool
