Movember...do people get it or think I am actually growing this? (10)

So, for the first year I have agreed to participate in 'Movember'.

For those of you who do not know what this is (like me a year ago) then it is when gentlemen grow moustaches for the month of November to raise as much money as they can for mens prostate cancer.

Although I am always supporting charities and doing what I can, this one is by far the most confusing.

I didn't think about the strange looks I would get and I wonder actually how many people understand what it is in aid of.

My biggest mistake was thinking what would happen in the gym...needless to say, you can see shocked faces all over...especially as I look like a 1970's German adult film actor!

Plus, have to try and hold off on any dates (not that this is non-existant so far) until end of November!

Do many people get the handle-bars or think that I am trying to 'bring back the tash'?

ha ha probarly although would suggest wearing some kind of t-shirt suggesting its an aid for charity seeing as people seem to have such an issue with it

Could get a truckers hat and a checked shirt and pretend I am from "outta town"

I think its great, Ive seen a few fellas with dodgy tashes around my local town.......I presumed they were doing it for Movember.....I hope i was right
