I've no doubt my husband was the biggest love of my life.

I felt the way I did for him, because he was strong and stable mentally, physically and emotionally, highly ethical, kind, generous in all ways and adored me.He was'there'for me constantly till his death, and his loss was the single most devastating thing I will ever go through.

I doubt I will ever love so intense again,as I haven't come close in the 6 1/2 years since his death,(sudden heart attack)and I still hold a torch for him.

Do I still regret it?You can not imagine how much..

Iwant to say sorry too it is hard to get on with things after that. I just always feel at least i was blessed and so very lucky to have felt that way.I think life is about learning and be thankful for the things we have had in our life. Some go through there whole life never have had that feeling that is beyond words.

Oh TBG I am so sorry for your loss, but do you know what I think, at least it did not go wrong and you probably loved each other to the end. I dont want to sound cruel but (in my case) I wished my husband died rather than do what he done to me and I have to live with this for ever, its better to have good memories than to feel sad of what you have lost through no fault of your own, well i supose its hard in both cases. Hope you find happiness and love which is close to what you had with your husband, x x x teddybear teddybear

Thanks for your thoughts agabimou,I agree we all have gone through our own share of heart ache.

In the first years my pain was unbearable, just missing him,my sadness for my children growing without a father, and for the things he would never experience, including sharing pride in them.
Thankfully I am able to enjoy my memories now,and finally enjoy, and feel, being in a close, caring, family of four,of which I am incredibly proud,is good enough too.

It must be hard when things go wrong with your partner, despite your best intentions, not knowing how to go forward, and pass the worst.I hope you find love and happiness also, and on the way the determination to enjoy the positive people, you do have in your life. hug
