I think it's different for different people and I can only personally speak for myself however...My personal opinion is as long as both in the relationship are happy with one another, then age is nothing but a thing. One of the keys to a successful relationship is happiness and as long as they are, it's a great place to start.

Being on similar intellect levels, having similar interests - nothing worse than you wanna watch Nat Geog or Discovery & she wants to watch "Loving, Desperate Housewives, Days of our Lives, The Bold & Beautiful, etc"
You play sport & her sports are "roulette, bingo, one arm bandits"; you get the picture! I think the couple that can sing & play the same music, dance to the same tunes, walk the same paths & yet remain their own individual selves,

There is no right or wrong... its just commonsense..
If you were 60 women, why bother with a male person so young that you would have a limited conversation with?
Not only would conversation be limited, but so would knowledge, wisdom, and general know how of everyday things...
