I registered couple weeks ago, service was still the same up until I came to UK last. weekend.
And no payment asked for.
By the way there is a tv guide on the program, if you havent found it. Click TV on bar to right of channels.

When I tried to register, it said: “Your are already registered”. Then it said: “Your subscriptions expired”. So I had no other choice but uninstall the whole thing. No more British propaganda for me…

Same thing happened to me. I used it for a month or so without a problem, except for a few times when I was unable to access any of the programmes. Now it´s asking for reistration again, which
doesn´t work.
Phoenix´s hackedcable link still works most of the time though and no downloading is necessary.
