OK..so Ive been chatting with freckles and we both get the same messages from the same guys...so at what point do you go above your friend's head and meet the guy she likes/ has dated..or is meeting for coffee?
For me, friends come before any man and if my mates say its a no go..I dont go there.
Do you?
Men come and go but friends are for life!

Some friends are so useless, enemies are more productivelaugh

I actually prune my friends, to those i honestly call friends, and aquaintances get cut on a very regular basis.

On emails, can't i just be non specific, and send one mail and share the filth between you?

Save me a load of typing, especially as i'm knackeredrolling on the floor laughing

BUT if I knew she liked him, OR if he was an ex and I knew she still had a soft spot for him, then no I would not want to hurt her feelings, ....scold

and certainly not into sloppy 2nds....

A guy sending the same messages to several women is not worth of any attention. This is not about me and my friend. He is rot from the biginning.

Hi the C, friends above a guy are "Priceless", like the old saying. Guys are like buses, if you miss one there will be many".
Good friends are hard to find, so i say, treasure them.wave

If a man was sending me and another woman the same messages I'd have nothing future to do with him.I would consider him a player.

solsticemoon: aye we have thought about arranging to meet the guy at the same time but as yet..never been that mean
besides..we quite like a guys testices attached to his bod!

the question actually was, forget internet dating, would you go out with ur friends past love or a girl ur mate liked but never had?

I've liked a few of my friends girlfriends, and got on well with them, but i never ever crossed the line.I've actually been put in a difficult position for turning down someones advances in this situation.

Very embarrassing for her, and i'll post the gory story in full later on if i'm still awake.

I also thought the idea of never dating anyone i worked with, was a good idea.

I regret the later, as i should have dated 2 women in particular i worked with in the past, and sort of regret it.

More fool me...but that me, for better or worse....in short my own worse enemy.

xxfrecklesxx: Good answer...

Ive messaged a couple of guys at the same time, sometimes its just friendly banter and nothing else, and some you do hope you might meet, I dont really see anything wrong in that, it just different when it comes to the 'dating' part.. but im the same.. only one 'romantic' thing at a time..

The simple truth for me is, one woman is more than enough, and sadly at the moment i don't even have enough time for one relationship...just friendship/dates from friday to sunday etc.

Hopefully work will require less of my time, which will give me time to have a life.

Why people seem intent on trying to chase multiple people at the same time is a bit of a mystery to me.

But, if your both ever back in blighty, and want to throw darts at me, let me know and i might have enough time to get injured, as long as you throw and aim fast.grin

Oh, no aiming for my ballsuh oh giggle
