Women who want to e-mail me right away? (20)
jovisst: I keep getting these invitations from women who claims to have read my profile and liked what the saw and now want to communicate on regular e-mail with me. I think it's scammers because their profiles doesn't show on "who viewed me". I guess if you are a scammer you don't have time to check profiles.

You can view a profile off line,plus you can also turn your profile off and view anyone and it doesn't show.If i view woman it doesn't show unless there looking for women.So it does not mean they haven't looked at your profile if they don't show up on who's viewed me.Do you get this invites to?
However most are scammers,who send e-mails who haven't vied you,but not all.

If they message me like that. I tell them that if they truly read my profile, they would see that I don't give that information out....Then I wait and see what happens. usually they don't send anything else(scammers)

Yep, I get plenty of those types of invites/emails....if they haven't viewed my profile and the email contains their personal email address, I am suspicious

If the first contact contains an email address, I don't even bother to reply.

Yes, I have received a few from women as young as 24, while I am 73. I suspect they think that a 73-year old man is lonely and would jump at the chance to date a 24-year old, but I am a realist. The age difference would make it very difficult to even carry on a decent conversation never mind a relationship. I even had an email from someone who claimed to be in a refugee camp. Where she got a computer from in a refugee camp beats me because people living in refugee camps generally have only the clothes on their backs. So, all in all, I suspect that these 24-year old women were trying to set up scams.

Where are these refugee camps? Thought they no longer existed, unless they call it that after a disaster,like Katrina.

Pretty much what I do any more. Also, have witten in my profile will not hear from me if give me an offsite email in first contact. They still miss that part. I get them all the time. I always write back and ask: When exactly did you look at my profile?? Most don't bother to reply, the brave ones make up lies, but the end result is always the same - their emails get deleted and the senders are quickly forgotten.
