If you're not interested in someone isn't it simpler not to ask to meet in the first place? If a man says I'll text you later today and doesn't, should you write him off? What's with the game playing when nobody put a gun to their head to ask to meet. Likewise men who immediately want to fly over to see you then you never hear from them or men who contact you and when asked for a photo disappear? Is the world full of players who can't keep their word?

its because they are playin and probably racked up a list of women and they have a number system they rate each women from 1 to 10 on their list the one who is closest to the top of their list who responds then they meet her and forget the rest..then they get sick of her, go back online then do the same thing over again..its called playa system.
my advise is to not take any guy too seriously online untill you have met and dated for at least a few months..then if his actions prove he is "falling in love" then maybe take him seriously..online has made the dating world harder as far as getting a real committment..

HI Missha
this guy asked to meet for a chat. I didn't ask. I sent him a hello text because I knew him from eons ago. e-mailed that he's very free and would text to agree on a date. said would text today and hasn't. What's the point. He could have just said hello back and not asked to meet for a chat. He came up with the idea. I'm beginning to think it's a bad idea to even mail someone a man saying hi as it goes to their head.

missingLondon: good advice. I only wrote to say hi because he kept viewing me and I thought he recognized me from when we briefly worked together.
I've given up hope of a good man btw. but the forums keep me coming back.
aww..dont give up..there is a good man somewhere wondering where you are.. just dont take any guy online at his words..wait and see if they are real or not. K?

Maybe some men play games maybe not ....but we women have to remember that some guys get just as shy and nervous about asking a woman out or even calling to say hi, as some women get about going on a date too.
Dont write him off, maybe he will call/text you later....maybe just trying to rack up the nerve to do it
