As for me, if we were going out for any long period of time and were sure how we both felt about each other, I would be very humbled with her asking, But is it not only in a Leap year that the Woman proposes Marraige..............

As for me, like said before, a long relationship,etc. I think that we would be open enough to communicate well, and I think I would rather have her go about it something like; "hon, remember when we talked about getting married? When would like getting married, during the summer?,etc. Something more like a discussion leading up to it. I would love it if she asked, I just wouldn't want to feel pressured, on the spot, etc. I also agree that if he says he's not ready, you could be hurt, end of that, etc. So I would hope she gave me assurance that it was ok to tell her exactly how I felt without having to worry about her being crushed, or the relationship ending, etc. Good luck! kevin
