INTRODUCTION

we set up camp on a small wooded hill
were we found a little ruins of a church
with a fast flowing stream tickling down the hill
like a snake finding its way through the long grass

the leafs littered the ground and with no ceiling
on the ruined church the rocks and soil was rather damp
when darkness fell the magical night had happened
and here is the poetic story of my camping night

UNDER THE GLOW OF THE FIRE

Under the cover of darkness
under the twinkling stars of the sky
we gathered around the camp fire
to give us warmth and light

I gazed into your diamond like green eyes
sparkling by the flickering of flames
do i see the glowing embrace of your
lush red hair stalking down your face

How i notice you concentrate on the
vibes of the music of the guitar
retuning it to clearly speak
of whats on your mind

the glow from the fire
reflects the paleness of
your light soft skin and
the ever loving smile
you have within

many days i have longed
for a night like this
to be within your company
just to hold your hand
and to listen to you sing

I placed my arms around you
and we slowly lean forward
for our lips to match together
under the twinkling stars
do we wait for dawn to break

we sit there alone with just
the two of us but to be in your
everlasting embrace is the momment
i will always treasure

Truly enjoyed reading this, loved what images it brought to mind.
Could imagine the feeling between you and the young lady. Could feel the darkness, see the sky and smell the fire.

Bravo Scary, Bravo!!! bowing

Did he say he did?.... I don't read anything where he claims to have written it or not.
