I like to take a date on a picnic. At the movies you watch the movie, you're quiet and cant talk. Dinner is good but you are in a crowd and talking over a table. On a picnic it's quiet, you get to eat, and you can really get to know one another, but you are still in public.

What are your suggestions for a good first date?

Aspyrider, I think your suggestion of a picnic is a good one. On a first date I want to have the opportunity to get to know this man without feeling rushed. I would also enjoy a museum, zoo, aquarium, or a botanical garden. Perhaps a hobby they enjoy. I don't necessarily have to have the same interest, but an environment that he is comfortable with will help him open up more. No drag races however, not on the first date, to noisy.

I think that a perfect first date would be to "ACTUALLY" go out on the date, before others take it upon themselves to decide "WHALLAHHHH"...you are dating.

Geez...here's yer sign. lmao. God, I'm glad Jesus blessed me with a sense of humor to deal with stupid people (in the words of Bill Engvall).

Rose.

Hi Pete,
sounds good to me, what would u suggest, fish or...

I would like to invite her to a piano or jazz bar or a nice live music place, but more likely a quiet one to have a smooth conversation.

I say take the plunge!
I think it would be hysterical to do a tandem dive!
Not strapped to your date though, preferably strapped to a trained skydiver!
If you get through that, you can get through anything. What a way to start a friendship! lol
