What do you think is wrong with the World?
I have a beef with the United Nations. It took them (2) weeks to finally meet about North Korea. The UN is supposedly the watch dog of the World. They are failing, just as the League of Nations did in the early 20th Century.

The world is the same as it's always been with plenty of good and eveil to go around. The only differencce is we're more capable of seeing what's happening.
as far as the UN is concerned... The emperor has no clothes and the UN has no teeth. It more of a bureaucratic stovepipe that's lost its effectiveness if it ever really had any. What good does any organization really do when they lack the will, authority and/or stones to take action.

Organizations are part of our problem. We are better off to be individual free and independent as individuals in Society.
Organizations tend to become corrupt, just like politicians and leadership does.

Yes, it is sad. Makes me wamt to turn back time, not just because my childhood and teenage years were wonderful, but I remember things being so different and people were closer. You knew your neighbours and people helped each other. People knew how to queue, and in fact people outside the UK used to make fun of our ability to queue and not barge in. I think I would be happy on some remote island somewhere!

I think world still same just always spin around. Maybe different just as human being it self, more thinking of self own ego. Hopely there more care people who not just concern for them self or even for 1 community or parties.

You pose a very interesting question johnaustin, even if it is generic and has already attracted a variety of answers from political, emotional and personal points of view.
The response I resonate with is "greed". Never a true word was said in the adage: "Greed is the source of all evil."
It's the Rockefeller Syndrome: The "disease of wealth" whereby having accumulated enormous wealth it sometimes follows that you want to take over the world. History shows there have been some people like that.
There is corruption in many facets of our society, yet the one thing I find most disappointing and somewhat distressing is the corrupt political push to remove religious teaching from education systems in many countries. It is happening in Australia where I live.
If I could sum it up this way by stealing a quote by the Duke of Wellington: "Educate children without faith and you make a race of clever devils."
