Dont know where u heard that from but we Muslims can eat with whom ever we like and be seen with whom ever we like .. the muslim man is allowed to date outside of his religion and the non Muslim women is ment to date a muslim man if he is not and he wishes to convert better for the woman
But now a days most muslims who are westernized do what they like regarding dating etc
