When I joined here first Nuala was a regular. She still drops in from time to time and a real lady.

Here's (one of) Nuala's stories in her own words on Irish TV

It starts after about 2 minutes so stick with it.

She's an inspiration and she bakes the best scones.

Hi V hug

She is a gem and her story is truly inspirational. She helps out with suicide groups in Dublin and is always on the end of the phone for the groups if they need her to talk to someone who has suffered a suicide bereavement.

She is currently posting in the IE if you wann say hello.

Thanks for that Vinny. Just goes to show you never know just how special people are, from meeting them online. What a strong caring lady she is! She has to be admired for her dedication to those children and her selfless compassion for others.

I'm really glad you showed this. It might waken people up to the reality of the lives of some of the people they meet on here. wine

Thats exactly it Ginger.

There are REAL people here with real feelings. I cringe sometimes when I read some posts and how people talk to each other. I always wonder would they say that face to face. Nuala is one of lifes good people who has overcome huge tragedy in her life and come out the other side with such strength and humility its unreal.

I have been fortunate enough to meet quite a few and I will always be grateful to them for their friendship and support when times were different.

Hey Vinny wave

Yes I remember her and she's lovely. I watched the video with tears streaming. She's a strong lady and also very humble. 8 children and all of that to deal with. I know how hard it is to be there for other people and putting on a painted smile. Its when you climb into bed at night alone that you can allow yourself to think again and even break down while no ones watching, only to paint on the smile again next morning.

Heres to you Nuala wine

I have met some really wonderful people off here too, not least of all yourself, and have found many them have been good friends, and there for me during a few rough patches in the last few years, and vice versa when the need arose.

That, for me, is what it is all about, and not when complete strangers, who know nothing about people, make judgements that are so wrong it's not funny.

I have seen people do that with Nuala too. Funny thing is that not one of them would have the guts to walk a mile in her shoes.

Yeah well if you met her you would never know anything. Always the first one with a joke or a kind word and you'd want to see her in action with her kids rolling on the floor laughing Not kids anymore but they are all so close.

A lot of people would have crumbled Ginger thumbs up

And now people are getting the good from that tragedy by Nuala's willingness to help out in suicide bereavement.
