tell us a story about
something crazy or unbelievable that
you either did,
or that happened to you,
that sounds like a lie or tall tale,
but is NOT!

I flew up the rift valley, (over 500 miles), in a two seater plane that was made of paper and balsa wood. Only paint seemed to hold the whole thing together.

The plane is still in existence today in a museum. There was a documentary made about the plane a few years back. It brought back some great memories.wine

How much time have you got?

Hanging out with the Mujahideen?

Finding myself in a hot stolen car halfway between Manchester and Birmingham unaware that there was three kilos of hashish in the boot?

Being accused of setting fire to Montreal airport?

Tearing my achilles tendon dancing on a remote beach in Mexico whilst dancing with a crazed lesbian dressed as a lion?

I could prattle on all night.

This thread sounds like a gome I use to play with the youth group called two truths and a lie, A person told three storys and everyone else had to figure out wich one was a lie.

1) I once scaled across a 1 fool wide rock ledge over 2,000 feet up on a mountain with a 50 pound pack on my back and no ropes. The ledge was about 300 feet across. I made it across and then looked back at where I had been and suddenly realized just how stupid that was.

2) while hiking in the mountains along the north side of Glacier peak one of the guys in my group slipped and dislocated his ancle. We where suppose to be going 20 miles that day and we where only 15 miles along. I was one of the strongest hikers in the group and one of the few who knew the trail so my brother and i went on ahead to the campsight, My brother set up camp as I went back to pick up the other guys pack. the rest of the group where taking turns carying him. By the time I got his pack and then back to the camp I had coverd over 30 miles up and over a mountain, with a 60 pound pack for 25 of it all in one day. I was so tired I did not even eat dinner, I just crawled into my sleeping bag and went to sleep.

3) My brother and I where hunting in the wilderness when we came apon a guy who was having a heart attack. I began CPR as My brother went for help. I kept the man alive for 4 hours before the surch and rescue got there.

Ok one is a lie.. Wich one?confused
