passing over the unmerciful
waves avoiding the rocks,
that are close to the bay.
With little vision hampering
the navigation of the fishing vessel
carefully and skillfully do they pass
the open barren rocks to see a shock
infront of there eyes a freak wave,
breaks over the rocks onto the deck.
scrambling to cover to hold on tight
the force of the wave alters the ships
direction a jagged old rock tears through
its side and the bitter cold salt water
gushes in to take its prey
the men struggle to get up
some are in shock some are in control
they scrambled towards the lifeboats
but to there fury they weren't there
blackness clouds them over
and as time goes by, the waves
still batter the bay.
By dawn it clears and theres nothing there,
but the shell that once fished the bay
and the members of that ship taken away,
and legends say they are now part of that bay.
