Ccincy: When I logged into FB afew mintues ago I found a message from one of my friends saying that Eveyones phone number is being published.
If you click on Account then Edit Friends and then on the left side of your screen and click Phonebook.Thank goodness mines unlisted.

Well, if I have them as my friend on face book I'm not hiding anything...is it friend only that can view it?

I've been on it for awhile and I think it's how you have your settings...but it's constantly changing so I have to admit ya never know...I'll go in and chk mine...thanks for the posting Cincy

My phone company is giving my mailing address out, nothing is sacred any more. If you have the persons name and town they live in you can get directions to their door, Seems like they are jeopardizing peoples safety and privacy for monetary gain

if i didn't have friends on their i probably would delete face book,seems you can't keep anything private...i had to change my email address because it got out some how,i tested it to see put and old one on their,sure enough,i started getting junk mail on it to,and people i didn't know wanting me to add them
I had to delete hot-mail address all together.

Google-earth will give u a pic of the house...This has been the case for years folks...Reverse phone look up, white pages, a few hundred pay sites to even find out who ur relatives r....Where have u folks been...Ur IP Address is traceable to your home...

I have a friend who uses Google earth and you can actually view your neighbors home and their address.
There's probably things about us that we have no idea what's on the internet.

I think you'll find google street scene carries a lot more detail than google earth.
360 degree views, look up or down and zoom right in for every detail about your home.

bodleing: Streetscene is really good, especially as most of the world is now covered. Just go to google maps, move the little yellow man icon to anywhere on the map and you'll get real pics of the location. You can then in effect walk down the road and rotate to view all around. If you view your house, you can even use it to check on the condition of your roof tiles.

I'm amazed...I use it quite a lot. I can view real photos of a place before I go, it's a really good tool, much better than google earth.
