Yeah they should; there's no reason for them to wear a veil, their religion doesn't say they have to. Storm in a teacup as far as I'm concerned!
After flying in a plane with approx. 90% muslim men, I felt degraded by the way some of them leered at me - and I was dressed respectfully in trousers and long sleeve top.
It's always a matter of respect. I'm sure Jack Straw isn't wanting to letch over the women, and I can understand that people can only communicate fully when they can see each others faces.
Why else would our military be trained to remove sunglasses when trying to communicate with different ethnicities ?
