First, I'm not offended. Second, point taken. Third, will there be substantial answers ? Paws

My bad; I took when you said you were "tired" that you were "offended." Or mayhaps just tired because it's an old, overdone subject?

Substantial answers? Hmmm..remains to be seen.

I don't think it's just men...

Fear. Spending time in each others' space...

Sometime we all have to pull back a little to see and feel completely...As long as it isn't a wall we hide behind that is too solid...

Probably the fear of being hurt again...
The fear of giving all that he has to
give only to take the chance of loosing
his everything all over again.

I think many have felt that way before and
struggle with that thought on a daily
basis. I know I have...hug

I think that when things start to get serious, both sides get all tangled up, and both sides get all confused and clouded with emotion and think the other side is pulling out...that's why "all girls back out" and "all guys back out."

just a thought,
My dear sainted mother told be long ago that we are different, us men from you women (Viva La Difference). Appartently where expressing emotions are concerned. How many women hear willadmit they new they where in love with the man before he knew he was in love with her??? It's how yuou handle this info that can cause the "Pull away" Why do women after sharing a close phyiscal act (making love) start with the "I love you" and automatically think it's always more than just sharing a mutually pleasurably experience. that can also explain why some men avoid the "sleep over" It's not because we wearing a Iron Man boxers ( Ok maybe sometimes it is) but the implications of what a woman may think it means....

then finally the most logical answer to why men pull away is

what ever it is you are doing is tickling the hell out of usrolling on the floor laughing
see another secret revealed Yes its true some men are ticklish.

grin

I can not speak for all men.

If things start to get serious to fast then yes I will pull back a bit.

Then again what exactally do you mean by serious?

If serious means the direction of marriage, then that's a huge commitment. How do you know the other person is going to be the same after you are chained to them.
