What kind of God would punish someone else for my supposed sins. What kind of God would punish anyone with eternal torture. Maybe whoever promotes these notions is the devil in disguise.

Because he loved me, and there was nothing more valuable he could sacrifice to purchase a clean standing before God for me than his own life; after all, as a sinner, I couldn't get there on my own.

God wasn't punishing anyonefor my sins! I was standing in front of a moving bullet, and Jesus got in the way and took it for me; the punishment Irightly deserved for my sins he was willing to take in my behalf. That's a true friend. But he was inocent, and his resurrection vindicates him. And it shows that even death can be conquered.

Jesus died on the cross for every one. every can take up his gift of salvation all that is asks is that you accept jesus blood was split for us and jesus is god and you must ask god to wash you sins away with the blood of christ and you will never lose his salvation ever and no one can take it away from you as it's a gift

Are you saying I should be shot for my supposed sins and that God would let someone else take the bullet if in fact I am the one who deserves it? And that God would be satisfied with that? Not that I feel that I deserve the death penalty for anything I've done. But anyway, it is not as simple as a bullet, everybody knows it doesn't end there, religion and the bible teach "eternal damnation" unspeakable torture for eternity. And lots of christians just love to raise that specter.
