As for today, I started walking to help me lose weight and as I was, a neighbor saw and joined me. I was enjoying the walking but it is all the better when you have someone to walk with....

Nice one TC.....when I became single my water bill dropped to approx £65 a quarter, it used to be just over £140 a quarter.

My sister entering the Strawberry Jam making competition at the Women's Institute and coming second to a Jar of Raspberry Jam. There was only two entries!
Just back from a tour of the Triumph factory now that was something to smile about. All the years of buying that brand to actually see them being made just superb. Wow.
My grandson just rang to say he is on his way to me...he's coming to stay for a couple of weeks....he's 17..
Doubt I'll see that much of him, he's already planned to go swimming later today with a few of his old friends.
It will be nice having him here though....

I have been making new friends all over the place.....it has been a long time since I did that.....When things are good, they are very good and then I can be just a tad bit bad

Spending over £90 in Asda on a food shop (soon mounts up in the trolley dosen't it)....I could have cried when I handed the cashier 5x crisp £20 notes, but I didn't,I smiled and said Thank-you when she gave me my change.....
