Not currently broken, but it definitely has some "battle scars."
As a side bar, this kind of reminds me of people who say they don't want anyone with "baggage." This, to me, suggests they don't want anyone who has been hurt in life, or anyone who has any type of "issues" whatsoever. Or, if they had "issues," they are required to have dealt with those issues and are still requierd to be that unscathed, "perfect" person.
I think people who expect others to go about life as if they have never experienced it, (the good and the bad), are too out of touch with reality. I think they are more scarred (and scared) than they are willing to admit and use others' shortcomings to avoid having to face their own. Just my .02.
