nanners2863: Who are these people?? How do you know what the people want? Many want him to act and many want him to hold back. What poll have you seen that suggests that the mass majority want to be involved in Libya? Who says he doesn't care?? Sometimes there's a time to fight and a time to wait.

I know I've read/heard about it.But I also wonder how much of it is/was all true. The media does have a way of twisting things from time to time.

john12196341: obama is not acting in the best interests of america. if the person in libya wins. it will show that america are cowards and won't help people in need and weak. obama will be a one term president. he doesn't have the nads to stand up to dictators. his popularity is going down alot. this president has done more harm than bush did. at least bush helped countries acheived freedom this president won't. he is all mouth and no action. he also doesn't realized the threat of the radical musilms pose to this nation and to the world and he doesn't care about the security of our borders from illegals and other people from different nations who cross here illegally. he should be impeached along with this administration and several congressmen because of their incompetent handling of the borders

mcajr1979: No president will be perfect but if you look at the body of work that Bush has presented, you will see that he failed miserably. We are now in a war for close to ten years and why? Because of oil. He took something like 911 and used it as an excuse to start a war on other nations. Now young men are dying. Would you want to put your life on the line for a less then noble cause?

Shouldn';t other countries like libya etc be taking taking care of themselves.

The USA shouldn't be sticking their noses in other countries business cause we should have enough of our own mess to clean up.

you people know what is happining to the people of libya? this has the making of mass genocide by this madman. this will be like rwanda when thousands were killed bt ethnic cleasning. the UN won't do nothing about except post sanctions to libya but that won't work. the UN is nothing more than a debating society then a real organization based on human compassion. somebody got to step in and help those people to be free of that jerk. i guess when it comes to helping people these days that saying is just words not doing it. years ago people helped people in times of trouble but in todays standards "to heck with the people in dire straits" and stab them in the back and let them suffer.if the thought of this assumption happened during the second world war all europe, asia and most likely the U.S. would have been under axis rule. there is a saying that is so true and it goes lie this. " the needs of the many outweighs the needs of the few and one' i wish people would go by that saying but sadly they don't care what happens to people of t his world. all they can think is themselves

Date Dollar Amount
09/30/2010 13,561,623,030,891.79

09/30/2000 5,674,178,209,886.86

Bush increased the national debt 4,350,546,687,025.37 (8 years)
Obama increased the national debt 3,536,898,133,979.30 (2+ years in office)

NOTE: I do understand that there's bleed over from one administration to the next so these are not exact but they're fairly close.

At the rate we're going right now we'll add another 3 trillion during the last 2 years of the Obama Administration. i.e. the debt will be at $16.5 trillion and he would have surpassed President Bush's debt by $2.5 trillion in half the time.laugh

I don't think it's as dry cut as you claim it to be. There are so many variables that effect decisions made by the world powers. What do you suggest America do??

Your comment is totally inappropriate.

Furthermore, we are not the world's policeman. We can no longer afford the loss of more of our brave men and women, nor our country's treasure, for not better reason than to secure the interests of greedy businessmen and their oil interests.

And as far as Japan goes, we are doing what we can, as we can. The severe danger involved does not allow anyone to ride in, shouting "Wahoo!", shooting off their six guns. Get real, man.

You shouldn't be speaking of our President this way, no matter whether he is Republican or Democrat. He is "our" President!
