I note that feathers get ruffled by lots of things in life.
People do get irate by lots of different things.
I do wonder what you may contribute to thread if anything at all.
This is a general chat, anything that gets you irate goes.
Not just what got your goat today!
As usual guys and dolls keep it clean please.
The MODs still not forgiven me and now we are into week 3! yikes.bouquet

What ruffles my feathers is the care in the community!
I have an 81yr old neighbour and totally disabled the care she gets is less than adaquate by the so called carers.
She waits for her breakfast til noon or does not get it at all. The lunch time ones come in at 5pm or after. She is afraid to ruffle their feathers! Damn bad service for the elderly.
That is my whinge. Heaven forbid that I live that long. frustrated

For the nice ones the ignorant ones spoil it all.
Yes concur with that statement entirely.
I feel like giving them a slap! I do tell them though that they are rude and let them know that they are not doing their job correctly.
I would get the raz if I was rude or ignorant in my work. comfort

That is absolutely disgraceful....that poor lady....is there nothing you could do,may be contact her family,if she has one. My father is housebound, his illness is terminal....at first the care company were sending different carers 3-4 times a day, some were late or didn't arrive, stressful to say the least.Eventually after very rude letters to head office and the care trust and involving the community matron I've managed to get everything working smoothly. Took alot of work on my part as the powers that be always think they are right, but I stuck to my guns.

Sorry Sail, rattled on a bit there, it did ruffle my feathers though...

"People" who don't accept or admit when they are wrong and continue to argue their point. Frustrates me, especialy when they are two faced about it. First it's one way, then they change it..why can't they let it go? Agree to disagree..and leave it be.

Litter droppers really annoy me!!! I see people getting off buses and throwing their tickets on the ground!!!very mad Why can't they put it in their pocket and take it home to dispose of it!!! Same with fast food containers thrown on the ground!!! Grrrrr

Also, people who don't acknowledge that you've let them join your line of traffic. Lately it's becoming more and more clear that people don't bother to say thank you when you've made it clear to them that you're letting them in!!!very mad very mad

And another thing...........Doggy doo doohs. Why can't people pick it up once their dog has done it's thing. I know most people are responsible dog owners but some turn the other way while their pet deposits on the grass. very mad very mad

Oh, and another thing!!!! Why does my neighbours cat pooh on my lawn!!!very mad very mad It never uses the soil and the powder I used to stop it was rubbish!! I can't stand there all day with my water pistol so as usual, it does it when I'm at work or busy!!!

Phew..........glad I got all that off my chest!!!laugh

What ruffles my feathers? I knew a person when I was going to college. I used to have to set near this person in a couple of classes. This person had a nasty habbit of chewing the rubber eraser off pencils. Just a big turn off to me and other people. I mean it was sick, discusting and sometimes laughable. Understand now why this would ruffle a persons feathers?

I concur its a dire disgrace the way the elderly are treated in this country.
Unfortunately this lady never married and only for one nephew that brought her Christmas present to her in Feb. Noone. I do the shopping every week for her, and the laundry which is pushing it as I do not have a lot of time, but its my duty as a human.
Shameful Great Britain! Great for Immigrants! Forget their own!
Spitting feathers mostly I do, but we should check those who are in need in our locality! Thanks hun. hug

Sadly this happens hun! Also have to say many should not have children, see them whacking them in the supermarket on a regular basis! Wonder how they would like it if someone whacked them? Its assault no matter how we look at it. frustrated

mk20uk: Oh, and junk mail annoys me too!!!! How many pizza, curry houses and fish and chip shops can a person be close to???? I'm bombarded with advertisements for them.

And, while we're on the subject of things that annoy us.............how about those phone calls that say they're not selling anything but...........

I never realised how many I got until I was on holiday from work but at home. It's a daily thing now!!!

Thank you again MK, I have a solution for you and the junk mail. All that comes in envelopes just pop the flyer back into the return envelopes and pop them in the mailbox then the sender has to pay for it.
With regard to the pizza and chip shops, we have lots in our locality, but do not seem to get that many flyers.
Phone calls again, just keep them hanging on, don't hang up on them. They are paying for the calls. The soon get the message.

Thank you for that reply.
Well people do have strange habits, and I suppose none of us are perfect.
Its really annoying to see that behaviour. I would have asked them for the pencil and whipped the rubber off it, and gave them one without a rubber top! hug

Hi hun,
Yes they like to spread their germs freely! It is not nice and very rude! Again back to manners and what can we do? Some have and some do not. I particularly hate when they use their sleeves to wipe their noses.doh

Hi, not quite sure how to respond to this one!
I do try to make sense of what I reply to my threads, and do always try to reply to all who give posts, until it goes off the topic.
People do what they think is right, and perhaps we should not be too quick to condemn. conversing
