LOL THE CAR I HAVE ALWAYS DREAMED ABOUT THAT IS COMING OUT SOON
On April 26, Ferrari will show this car to the public for the very first time. Code-named the FX, the successor to the Ferrari F50 will debut in Japan at a show called Artedinamica at The Contemporary Art Museum of Tokyo.
1: The car will be a two-seater constructed in carbon fiber with a midmounted engine. It will have to be a stupendous machine to top the F50, which had a 4.7-liter V-12 with 513 horsepower (109 hp per liter)--good enough to launch the very light (2,712 pound) F50 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and give it a top speed of 202 mph. Then again, now that the 575 M Maranello can strike 202 mph, it's a sure thing the FX will be faster.
2: The rumor mill says it will be powered by a 6.0-liter V-12--good for a walloping 650 horsepower--and will be linked to the same Formula 1-style gearbox now found in the 575 M Maranello and the 360 Modena. One thing is certain: With Lamborghini already claiming its Murciélago as the fastest production car on earth, and Porsche readying its 550hp Carrera GT (0-to-60 mph in a neck-whipping 3.5 seconds), you can bet Ferrari is going to make the FX as fast and extreme as it can possibly be.
