weiowcats i cant agree with you more there are alot of elderly people around my area i dont mean to be rude but if any of them stop breathing or have a heart attack it 20 miles on the road before hospital treatment which also means ambulance delays........
yes i totally agree, but the government doesnt seem to care!! thats why we are having more deaths in hospitals and at home because the funding is not a priority. Dam shame are country is coming to this.
there closing down a lot of hospitals because they are making a lot of staff redundant, theres been loads in this area that have been made redundant, hundreds and hundreds.
they have also closed a lot of little hospitals by me and made one bigger one, but is a nightmaire if your local hospital is a long way especially in a emergency, you havnt always got 20 minutes to get to your nearest hospital. i think its terrible.

I m not surprised that hospitals are being closed down, what baffles me is how the people of UK are being grossly deceived and robbed off of such a necessity on a broad day light all in the name of politics and no one seem to be bothered!

(And now enter the damn rebel from the colonies.)
Ah, the joys and blessings of socialized health care!
People’s health is better served when looked after by the people themselves. To leave it to government is to have a misplaced faith in government efficiency. The only thing any government is efficient in, is destroying and killing, id est, a government’s armed forces.
Considering government’s performance world wide, past and present, to surrender responsibility for health care, or anything for that matter, to any government is to consider it of little importance.
Are politicians and NHS bureaucrats solely to blame?

Its happening everywhere and there ani't a thing one person can do about it.
Me and my children live in a small area of Lincolnshire and our local A&E unit is only small but its enough. My son suffers from Bronchil Phnemonia quite alot and when his chest is bad he needs to go to A&E for a puff of oxygen and thats normally enough till the anti-biotics kick in, the local A&E is 10 mins up the road.
They are closing it down, there is however 3 other large hospitals near by. They take a hour to get to(even with my driving!!) , when he needs oxygen he can't wait an hour!
Oh and he can't have one at home as he doesn't need it that often, its only once a fortnight during winter and thats not often!!!!
