What a lovely idea unfortunately I'm not from the area but think its a great idea also have a quick look at notice boards in your area you might come across group meetings much like your suggesting. Good Luck

I totally understand your predicament.....my kids are grown now, but when they were young I had to get out and talk to other adults to keep my sanity.
I don't live in your area so I can't help out personally.....but you should check to see if there's a 'parent and toddler' group locally. We had one in our area, we met twice a week, with the kids, in a parish hall, for about 2 hours. We got donations of toys that we could leave on the premises from week to week. It was a great outlet for parents continually at home.

Check out if there's one in your area....and if there isn't....start one yourself. You will get to know people in the area very easily this way, especially if your child isn't in playschool every day of the week, and you have time on your hands.
