I joined this a few weeks ago but only discovered recently that the forums seem to be really active here. Lots of banter, some arguments, and a lot of interesting conversations to be had. I've spent some time reading past threads and it all certainly seems interesting. So I thought that I'd start joining in on the fun.

It seems to be the done thing to introduce yourself if you are new to the forums. (Appologies if I'm incorrect on that!) So, well, here I am It also seems many new posters are given some ridicule for posting so really hope this doesn't offend anyone! I also see that some people who post on the forums are given a hard time due to having no picture on their profile (being a "paleface" it seems to be known as). I personally didn't put a picture onto my profile because of my life choices. I haven't come out to my family and I've recognized a few faces around here, so I really don't feel comfortable putting a picture up at the moment - but have no issues with sending anyone a picture to validate that I am real, and am here for genuine reasons - so I hope that I'm accepted into the circle picture or no picture, pale face or no pale face.

I decided to try internet dating after my last relationship ended due to me having to move for job reasons. The dating side of things hasn't really gone that well, so figured internet dating I might learn more about the person before meeting them and investing time and effort into the relationship. I also really liked reading the forums here because so many of you seem really nice and even more seem to be friends either in real life or in other forms (social networking sites, etc etc) Due to moving I don't have a lot of friends around at the moment, and no partner to be with, so some new friends, or a new relationship would be great

Sorry if this turned into a really long message but I just wanted to introduce myself properly, so hopefully looking forward to getting to know people on the forums and to joining in on the fun and frolics!
