But have been told by freinds that you can get some good bargainsTwo years ago, I cam across a lot of fine jewelry and got it for $125.00 American...the total value was over $1500 American. I sold enough of it to pay for the lot and kept some(some for gifts).
My most recent deal is a web can(infared) for $2.00. In the stores, the least expensive is $20.00....
I have been on there for about 3-4 years and get great deals on all major purchases.
Just be real careful because some charge too much for shipping, but the price of the item is low. You don't want to deal with those.....

TC there are millions of people on the Ebay worldwide. Paypal is secure! Thank God never had a bit of bother in 3yrs. Still good luck to them to try and use my bank a/c.You have more chance of being scammed at your local shop than on the bay.

I bought 2 pairs of RayBans on there identical for just under £60 kept one pair and put the others back on 6mths later sold them for over £90 nice wee profit there. Shipping some do overcharge for that but you can reduce their ratings overall if they do.

Mr.L. if something is wrong you get refunded by Paypal if the seller is arguing the point with you its superb for buyers they have all the protection. The Seller has none literally. I also sell on the bay and I know what I a talking about here. So you have no worries at all. Sellers do have a bit of protection, but you are right, if the buyer is not happy in anyway, with the product, they get a full refund, including the shipping for returning the item(if they ask for it).

I've been on ebay for the last ten years as a buyer and seller.
I think out of about 300 transactions I've only had trouble with 3 people. I paid over 70 pounds for something a few years ago and kept getting lame excuses as to why I never received it.
So, I gave him enough time (3 weeks) and enough rope (about 50 feet) to hang himself... Then I opened a resolution case against him as I'd paid by paypal and hey presto! Next day I had a full refund from him.
I bought my cockatiel from there for £85 which was a bargain as they were at least £140 from local pet shop and not as nice.
I also bought latest hamster cage from there for £36 which is same as from a shop. Only thing was they no longer stocked that particular cage in local shops.

Yes have about 800 positive feedback on Ebay for both buying & selling & no negative or neutral so pretty chuffed with that. Don't use it as much as i used to but it's still a website i visit at least 3 times per week & either buy or sell on at least once per fortnight.
