If I could make a suggestion. Ive noticed you have posted numerous threads now in the "new members area" Perhaps this might be better posted in the appropriate spot (perhaps polls) as this knocks out new members trying to introduce themselves.

Thank you for your post, your suggestion is duly noted. I'm just curious, did I do something to offend you? I've noticed you tend to "correct" me a lot.
You seem like a nice person, I'm just a bit taken back as I've seen others start threads here that are not an introduction of themselves, and you've posted on them with out "Correcting" them.
I didn't do this as a poll as I wanted to know what Others Preferences are, not voting on what I like.
I'm sure new comers will have enough space to post their introductions in this section of the forums. I reread the the posted forum "rules" as I want to be mindful of others and it didn't limit to one type of post in any one section of the forums.
Again, sorry if I've said something in previous threads that bothered you, as I sincerely am not aware of what it could have been.
Blessings, Saved

To be fair, Saved, I was thinking the same as Venus, that you might not have realised the way the forums work. If you click on "forums" at the top of your homepage, the most recently contributed to thread shows for each category. This means that a potentially chatty thread like this one will "hide" new members trying to introduce themselves.
Venus isn't trying to be funny with you. She's trying to be helpful. If she's got a problem with you, she'll tell you. V doesn't do underhand.

"Cashmere Mist", Donna Karan...and..."Oscar de la Renta", Oscar de la Renta......

Give the newbie time to settle in. Is it really necessary to chastise and gang up on her on her own thread? The right way and most classy way to deal with your "helpful hint" is to email her privately expaining the way things work. In management, you NEVER scold an employee in public view, ALWAYS behind closed doors. I doubt you would have posted her about this if you didn't read V's post. You "helpful hint" has merit, but just like the newbie, it's in the wrong place. Yes, I could have emailed you, but
Thanks for the input. I understand about how these forums work as far as the last thread contributed to will then be moved to the top of that particular forum section. However, it doesn't "hide" the other threads under that particular forum section as I can still see all of the other thread titles in this Forum section.
As I mentioned earlier, I've seen several threads in this section of the Forums that have nothing to do with an introduction of themselves, and several people have posted on them. That's what makes it fun, especially for "New Comers."
Oh, I was just clarifying with Venu if I may have offended her in something I may have said in a previous thread that I'm not aware of. If so I would need to offer an apology. But, I thank you for letting me know her personality in that she would have told me if I did.
Have a great day Jac. :)

Hi Grace!! Yeah...Oscar is one I have worn for years...Cashmere Mist was the only one that made me want to change it up occasionally..it really boils down to body chemistry though...don't you agree? What works on one, may not work so well on someone else.....
