KATE McCann has penned a book about her lost daughter Madeleine to encourage people to come forward with fresh information.

The new book, simply titled Madeleine, is due to be published on May 12, which will be the Leicestershire schoolgirl’s eighth birthday.

Do or did you believe the McCann`s had a part in the dissappearance of their daughter?

I do in the sense that they left there young children unsupervised in an apartment while they were out socialising, they will carry that guilt for the rest of their day. And so they should.

Dont think they had a part in her disappearance...but I do think they were guilty of neglect ..they chose to leave their kids in an apartment on their own .absolutley disgraceful and yet parents on holidays do the same yr in yr outroll eyes

he had played tennis twice that day leaving her to mind the kids all day
the impression i got was that hes a selfish guy who didnt help out much with the kids
she snapped and gave the kids too much meds and one died and they disposed of the body
even if thats not the case they were neglegent while caring for the kids
why didnt they just bring a relative to help out
i allways bring one of my sisters and with me if im goin abroad
or if yer goin out just bring the kids along
i never liked the look of the hubby

I always wonder if they hadnt both been Doctors would they have had the same reaction from the press and the public I doubt it..People took the attitude because they from a respectable area and both Doctors that neither could have played a part in the child disappearing JMO

blipper2000: what are ya talkin about
thats my opinion
they left their kids on their on to fend for themselves
ya wouldnt do that to a dog

they did yeah but saying that they killed her and disposed of the body is speculation
Apr 17, 2011 12:12 PM CST Madeleine
blipper2000: saying that they didnt is speculation too
your young ya dont have kids
the thing is ya dont leave kids on their own EVER
i have no sympathy for them whatsoever
not only that so much time and resources has been spent on looking for a child that we dont even know what happened to
rsources that could be spent to help genuine cases of child abductment

Nobody knows what happened to her so I dont think anybody has the right to accuse her parents of murdering her, They didnt even find a body and because I have no kids doen't mean my opinion is any less important than somebody who has 50 kids

I would imagine there isn't a day that goes by, but they don't wish they could turn back the clock and do it all differently. It's easy for us to sit back in judgement at times, they're the ones without their daughter.

Well the police in Portugal are sure of it but they can't prove it. Why would someone break in to the apartment and only take 1 child? There were 3 kids there and if someone broke in looking for kids they would have taken all 3.

Plus there was a small amount of her blood found on a wall. Parents say she had cut herself. Her DNA was found in the boot of a rented car but it was so degraded they could not prove weather it was her DNA or one of the parents. But why would one of the parents be in the boot?

They are both doctors also so they would know how to hide certain evidence and why would they leave 3 kids alone to go to dinner? Plus it just happens someone breaks in and decides to talke a child in that hour?

She was wetting the bed also and wittnesses say they seen her mother get very angry with her about that and other things.

They also kept changing their stories to Portugese police...why would they do that?

It's my belief they killed her. I think it was an accident and they paniced and covered it up.

I still think she is alive somewhere in Africa. It's so easy to get to Morocco from the area close to Gibraltar that i feel she was indeed kidnapped & taken there.

Q - Why has there been no reported sightings ??

A - Obviously i don't know but feel she was probably taken & locked away until her appearance changed. Just look at that case in Austria where that guy kept his daughter & all the other's locked underground for years.

i agree with you but leaving babies on their own is shocking in the extreme
id be too afraid to do it
a young child cannot defend itself so adults need to do that
im sure they regret a lot but regret is not gonna bring back their child
should a murderer be set free from prson cause hes regretfull?
what would happen if every baby and young child was left alone 24/7?
can you imagine itdunno

there was too many inconsistencies
changing theirstory proves their guilt in my book
its amazing at the time people were agfraid to say they thought the parents killed her but just looking on this thread goes to showe how many people think they were at least negligent in leaving their kids on their own
