Well personally, i never understood all those stories around firefighters...
But don't worry, most women do, and it's still the N°1 in their fantasies.
I think women are looking for protection and security in different ways. And firefighters are supposed to be strong, so... may be that's where the myth started

Definetly UNDERPAID!!!!I was a Paramedic for several years...and during that time--I learned to deeply respect them and their job.....same goes for Law Enforcement.......

Firefighters...Sizzle(absolutely #1 fantasy...it's the getup, and who doesn't love a man in uniform???) And definately underpaid. I think it's absolutely ridiculous how much celebrities, no matter what "field" they're in(i.e. acting, music, sports) should be paid less to entertain us, and let the people who risk their own lives for us get decent earnings. After all, is Kelly Clarkson's songs, or Brad Pitt's movies going save you from a burning building? Or perhaps choking to death? Not that I don't like them, blah blah blah, I just think it's silly how much they are paid.

Firefighters lay their lives on the line every day, what could anyone possibly say negative about that, keeping in mind that they are firefighters as an occupation.

I have no idea what firefighters get paid, but I think it would be according to location. I hope they are not underpaid, but it seems actors, sports players, and politicians get paid ridiculous amounts of money.
