Well, whether we like it or not, Harper has a majority. Maybe now Parliament will actually get something done without an election being called over every issue or a squabble that is reminiscent of a elementary school yard fight.

Got to hand it to Jack, most seats the NDP ever held, leader of the opposition, crippled the Bloc, and completely embarrassed and shamed Iggy. Damn good show Jack.

The Green finally has a seat, I think that's awesome. Elizabeth will be a cool addition to parliament.

I was really disappointed that Helena Guergis never got her seat :( I liked her and was hoping she would be a presence in parliament to make Harper just a little uncomfortable :)

Poor Liberals lol. Iggy was too damn eager for power, and he got what he deserved (I am Liberal at heart, but not blind to idiot "Iggy").

A Tory majority with a NDP lead opposition. Parliament is hopefully, going to be a different parliament from the crap we had the last 10 years since Paul Martin.

Yes it looks like these elections brought about good changes and a few surprises.

1: Jack Layton and his party in the opposition
2: Elizabeth May winning in her riding
3: Liberal downfall and resignation of the party leader Michael Ignatieff
4: Bloc Québécois almost alienated and resignation of the party leader Gilles Duceppe

All in all I’m happy with a Conservative majority government and with the above.
I think Parliament is better off now than it ever was since Stephen Harper and his party came to power.

Damn, I hope so.

What a waste of money it has been, 2 billion dollars and climbing steadily. Its a failed idea, but one that Canada just refuses to let go of for some reason.
