being a feminist means a woman doesn't need a man to support her.
a feminist puts everything that is feminine first.

she can take care of herself, do whatever she pleases and is only responsable for her own deeds.

when she works, she gets payed the same amount of wages, and still be a woman in her own right.

if she wants to play, she plays.
if she wants to live, she lives.
if she wants to breath, she breaths.
and if she wants a baby, she gives birth.

men are equal to her, not her superior nor her minor.

hope you understand
because if you don't, you have a long way to go.

wine

this is my opinion, as a feminist.

I think feminists should form a party and try to help other women like in Afghanistan. they are women too, but the western powers in there don't seem to care

professor Feminism is in fact a global struggle for gender equality and end of gender based discriminations against women. So White American Women, Black American Women, Asian Women, Latin American Women, European Women or Women from any other part of the world are united in their struggle against gender based discrimination and inequality. Though they may be working for issues specific to their cultural and social settings but they are united in the philosophy of achieving equality of women in every sphere of life.

Feminism is also related to men in the sense that all gender based equality is in fact a balance between the male and female with the intention of liberating the individual. In that sense the definition of feminism also includes all movements and campaigns that target men and boys for gender sensitisation with a goal to end gender based discriminations and achieve gender based equality.

Beyond the textbook definition of the movement which any non-lazy male can read through a decent Google search... yeah, we're onto that whole "Oh you do it so much better than I do" (so do it for me) BS...

A true feminist defines herself... she does not let narrow definitions within the feminist movement, (some of) the male population, nor the society at large put her into a box.

don't think it will help much.

to start thinking like a feminist, you need a society that welcomes your thoughts with open arms.

peeps in that region are too much used to the way they live.
even women think that way in my opinion.

it may take several generations to even win some ground.

and as long religion is prevelating over the way society MUST think, it will be hard to change.

setting up a party based on Western thinking, will not work in those regions.
the hatred of the West will be to hard and women can't afford to fight battles on two or more fronts.

if ever a party is formed, it should be of regional women who knows how the forces work.
but without education, it's still gonna be hard.
