Dude! YES! She is! If you are not married anymore, I would not be paying out any money. If you have children, thats the only thing you should be paying for. You dont have a ring on your finger anymore! So quit paying!

I'd consider it allowing yourself to be used. It's one thing to help someone out who's in a crunch, out of the goodness of your heart, it's another thing to continuously be bailing someone out, both literally and figuratively, but then to turn around and complain about them "using" you? From what I can see, she didn't STEAL the money, you willingly GAVE it to her.

And I'm wondering, too, did she not do anything for you at all?

Now, she could have declined your generous offers, of course, but no one can USE you unless you willingly let that happen. Hopefully, lesson learned. Find someone who appreciates your generosity.

Shame of it is--------there is probably someone out there that will need someone like you and she just blew it for a good and kind lady in the future. You seem to be quit a gentelman. She obviously is a user, so yes, quit by all means, giving to her. Please don't let this one woman that apparently did not know what a good man is ruin you for any future relationships. We are not all that way. Good luck and bless you.

CUT YOUR TIES, as long as you help her, she'll always be there with her hand out. I had one of those kind of "vampires". Watch how mad or even evil she gets when you do cut the banking. Learn by your mistakes but, don't keep adding fuel to the fire. Donscold

Tell her to get 2 job's. And if she needs a sugardaddy, send her to the street corner. I hate gold diggers, Living on someone elses sweat, and hardwork just makes me mad. very mad If your a millionaire I guess it's all right. I'm tight with my cash, I'm working for my future: 100 acre horse farm to retire to when I get old and no-one is going to kill my dreams.

I totally agree with you, but if a person willingly gives their money to someone, how can they then complain someone was USING them? She apparently (obviously) was taking advantage of his generosity, but is there some reason he couldn't have said no?

I'm not defending her behavior in the least. I don't ask men for money. I'm not even comfortable with a man paying for a date -- EXCEPT...I do think, since it's an invitation, that the person who does the inviting ought to be the one who pays. I don't ask a man to my house for dinner, then expect him to bring the food. LOL.

Sometimes, too, a man (or a woman) who is doling out all this money seems to forget that taking care of a house, kids, yard, running errands, etc., etc., are services that are paid services in the business world, that he'd otherwise either have to do himself or pay someone to have it done.

I don't know what his particular situation was, but just adding that in for consideration.

Anyhoo, no one can take advantage of someone else (unless they force them to) without their consent.

As much as it pains me to agree with you, I have to. I ALLOWED myself to be used too. It's a painful realization, but one that you must admit to yourself. Don't be too harsh on yourself, it's not the end of the world. And again....Stacy, is it?, I have to agree with her....Find someone who appreciates your honesty....
