I am hearing you, just in from work so still wide awake.

I have heard that warm milk is the go, but I don't really like milk??

3 maybe 4 hours sleep last night, i should be feeling dead.Tried the warm milk trick, its probably the new pain killers making me hypo im thinking?.

Ok try this ...start at your toes say go to sleep toes, same for ankles then slowly move up the body.

The funny thing is that it works because whenever you have told some part of your body in (secquence of course) to go to sleep its like you cant feel that part anymore.

Its odd that I have never got further than my thighs must have fallen asleep.

Cant understand how it worksconfused confused dunno but it does.

Now all I have to do is find something to KEEP me asleep for more than 3hrs. moping mumbling blues

Yeah, I remember having a group hypnotherapy session to try and give up smoking and we had to lay there as he told us something similar, we had to relax beginning with the toes. In your best hypno voice now... 'Just relax your feet , you might feel them drop away to the sides, feel the energy leaving them and draining into the floor as you let it go. Your calves are beginning to feel very heavy, feel them getting heavy....' laugh

relaxation tapes do work

reading a teen romance novel does work

a cup of mugwort tea (if you are on no medications) does work (for most people except Nuts)

going for a walk to tire the body does work

having a note book and writing all those things you have to do, that keep you awake thinking about them, does work to settle your mind

It does help to get a good nights sleep if you don't eat after 6pm and don't drink coffee, stress is a big reason why people can't sleep as well so if that is the case you need to look at that as being a problem as well. hope you get a good nights sleep tonight ....sleep sleep sleep gnite

play a self help audio book, I always fall asleep before the chapter is up and then have to try and find where I was up to the next night.

Take more pain killers,or if you stop eating that will slow you down.Hey why don't you do both that will really fark you up.
