Well this is a subject that we have all encountered and have also suffered from at timesvery mad anger

What makes us mad?
How do we keep our self control?
Is there such a thing as cool cool and calm?
Are their some occasions when we go over the top and maybe do or say something we wished we did not?

These are my answers:

I know that sometimes I suffer from anger but know how to control things and keep my composuregrin

Yes sometimes I can be in a great mood and nothing can touch me when I feel like that thumbs up

Yes I also know that I say things in the heat of the moment too but I think most of us dothumbs up thumbs up

So it's up to you lot to express your comments and views

thumbs up peace

I am a very calm person, not easily angered, but when I do get angry (and I would only class that as being probably less than 5 occasions that spring to mind), I amaze even myself with my fury. Once I was so angry with my ex when I was married to him about something I had been putting up with for years with talking to him rationally about it for years, I just blew and we were in the kitchen - I open the cupboard and threw every plate one by one on the floor. It was so unlike me and I had never behaved like that before or since. Things were better with that problem between us after that incident as it made him realise just how strongly I felt.

Anger!
I am also a faily calm person.
Anger is something that is normally caused by others.
If that happens then you are allowing others to control
you! I do not allow others to control me. I decide my
mood.
How one feels inside is entirely different though.
To vent anger is something that does more damage than
the the event that caused it.
I find somethings irk me, but not to the degree of anger.
I just shrug and shake it off as insignificant. hug

There are some many ways that people can express anger for example:
I lost my motorcycle keys and was looking everywhere for them and was I a rush devil very mad anger set in but I was angry with myself because I forgot were I put themdoh

When I get sales people constantly ring me updevil very mad and keep on and on trying to sell me something even when I tell them I am not interestedfrustrated

The one that I tend to hate is when I get very mad with a friend over a stupid argument and said something hurtful to them blues I know I should not have said that but you just loose control and say the first thing that comes into your head doh

So does anyone else have stories about anger and how it has affected themtyping

thumbs up

Just checking in very quickly as busy! Good morning Houston4. Good morning all.

In addition to my post above, where the incident happened about 20 years ago I feel now that I think carefully, very carefully befor doing anything that would be potentially damaging to me or someone else. There have been times when I could get irate, but I seriously don't want to let something get out of hand, because people certainly remember - in fact they have very long memories, and no amount of apologising for any outburst can make them forget - they can forgive but not forget - so I always am ultra-careful now. I remember loads of times when family members have shown their true colours and shown what they feel in an angry way, rather than in a calm and rational way, and it does make me think of them differently. Sounds like I am little Miss Perfect - I am not - but I certainly try to keep decorum and respect for people and for myself.

Ok, back to work for me! Have a good day everyone! wave

Yes i suppose we can all get a little irate at times and do silly things .

I used to lose control now and again and pick up anything close to me to hit people with ,{not good i know},but sometimes i couldnt even remember doing it , i was in so much of a rage ,

On 3 accasions it was a Hatchet ,this i know is a bit over the top , and someone could have got seriously hurt had i not have missed there head .

So yes on reflection , rage is stupid .
