Yep...would have to agree with you there Eos... a walk in the woods in wonderful....so is being on a deserted beach...there's nothing like it

Perhaps having a glass of your favourite tipple, feet up and just relaxing
Eos11: One of the things that helps me, when I'm feeling stressed, is to watch tall trees sway in the wind ..... such a simple thing and so helpful.

Ohhhhhh...I forgot about the lava lamps!!! ... Definitely relaxing! In my collection of moose things, I have a moose tea light holder. You light the candle and these see silver moose slowly spin round and round on a carousel.

Sooo know what you mean. We have had a few hedgehogs passing through the garden. snouting around for food... They sure love my cats dried food I brush out, after cats spilling it out of bowls.
For nocturnal animals, they sure are noisey, rumaging through garden to garden....
Actually...I told a wee fibby there 
(artistic licence) Unfortunately I have to have a rabbit-proof fence around my garden so don't get any little critters like hedgehogs 
Used to get them at the old house though...and yes, you are right...they are REALLY noisy when they are chomping down dog food!! My old boxer used to come out with me at night and we'd feed the hedgehog. Poor doggie would stare in disbelief that his dog food was being munched by this strange, prickly ball of wierdness!!

Ahh don't fret about a lil white fib..... If you can hear them in neighbours garden, then not telling a fib!!
One year, we had them through the garden, but I hadn't put lid over drain (where waste pipe from kitchen goes)...... When I got up next morning to go out for my smoke, I saw this poor hedgehog stuck in drain.. When I tried to pick it out, I could see all it's 100s of fleas scurrying around on it's head, which was above water level... GROSSS (Still makes me shudder when I think about it) I had to put on rubber gloves to pick it up, the poor thing. But it lived to tell the tale.. LOL
