finding myself single after an ltr I've re-discovered a lot of freedom. I'm not quite sure I'm ready to give it up for a relationship. they're such hard work and love always dies out. What do you think is the price of freedom?

Was thinking that exact same thought... Piss or get off the pot......... This is stuff to discuss with friends as it'll frighten/scare the crap out of any man on here.

Yes there is a cost to be in a relationship...It's called Compromise and that can suck as we get older

I suppose you are never lonely? Who says you have to pick a side? I'm happy being lonely unless I meet someone who adds to my happiness. Thanks for the hostile reply. I will whine to my heart's content.

I can't give an honest answer till I have another cup of coffeeyawn Some would say and some have given, thier lives for others to be free. Don't know I could or would want to do it, but thanks to every veteran who did what they felt was thier duty.

Freedom is priceless. However, I cannot feel free if I am not in love. Love brings freedom.

i've loved truly but left because it wasn't reciprocal. Not a great believer these days judging from my experience you give a lot and get kicked in return, so lonely and single is a better place to be than with an unappreciative man. At least for me.

well I guess some might say lonliness

but we all tolerate different levels of that and some welcome some alone time

so whether or not that is a "price" is a question. It may be more a result.

As i'm losing my patients with whiners. Of course there is a cost to most things in life.... However there is also personal responsibility for our choices and actions.... For this person it appears that everything is as a result of someone elses actions.... The fact is she made choices too

How is/was she whining? It just seems that someone can't post an innocent thread anymore on here without being considered a whinner.

Geesh.
