you might not feel that right now, but you will and when you do, you see in hindsight that what you felt today, led to your current happiness. trust me on that one.

Well the attempts were trying to get together with the person I like but, it never works out and then, again today I find out my seventh attempt was yet, another lead on disappointment. I really cared about him too...I don't know I'm done looking.

I don't know the quote, but it sounds like Schopenhauer. Anyway, I think ya gotta build your own life first, so you're cool with it, and you're happy, and life is grand. It's a bit of work, yes. But when you do, when it no longer matters whether the right partner comes along or not...they do.

i agree that building a satisfactory personal life is the way to go on with life...being in a relationship can be a bonus, sometimes malus

I had a man deny the things he said when he first met me in his attempts to say he never "lead me on" rather than resend those messages back to him I said nothing - maybe that was a mistake IDK
but I figure if he wants to go elsewhere it's best to let him - if u hold a leash on a man u will lose him ultimately

Hmmmm....ok, you tried 7 times to get with the same guy and your feeling hurt, sorry but I feel you've brought it on yourself.
If he wanted to know you he would have after 1 or 2 attempts.
Learn from it, put it behind you, toughen up and move on, lifes going to throw so much your way without you adding to your problems.

Dear Navy, Your all of 18 years old ( at least that's what your profile says ). You have your whole life ahead of you . Yes you will hit bad times, and yes you will meet the smooth talking players . I don't wish any bad on you but the hard or bad times in life are what we learn from . Some people never do . Only through expirience do we gain any wisdom .
