grudge
TrustyOxford: n. a persitent feeling of ill will or resentment resulting from past insult or injury.
I dunno about ill will, but some wrongs are hard not to resent. It can take a while to heal, depending on the "injury".
TrustyOxford: v.1 be resentfully unwilling to grant or allow (something)
There are times when it would be stupid not to walk away from someone abusive, so in that sense, to not allow them to have influence upon you, or contact, is a very sensible grudge. 2 feeling resentful that (someone) has achieved (something): I don't grudge him his moment of triumph. No, not at all. To do so would be churlish, I suppose unless an achievement had been made under false pretext, especially if it took away from someone else.

(Sorry, forgot to give my Trusty Oxford all the credit there. )
